How to care for leather?

Every bag, harness, belt, or any other MILLER THINGS piece is made from premium vegetable-tanned leather of the highest quality, carefully selected by us. All our THINGS are unique. Designed, crafted, and entirely handmade in our workshop in Barcelona.

 

English Bridle Leather, like any other premium product, requires careful maintenance. We would like to advise you on how to care for leather goods MILLER THINGS. 

 

• Regular treatment with leather care balsam is recommended to preserve the leather from water and nourish it with waxes and oils. This procedure helps prevent drying and prevents the appearance of micro-cracks.

• As the leather ages, it will develop a patina, as it absorbs the natural oils from handling, taking on a darkened or more lustrous appearance.

• Avoid objects that may scratch the leather or compromise the interior.

• Store the pieces in a cool, dry place to maintain the leather and prevent hardware deterioration.

• If your product gets wet, remove any water immediately with a paper towel and allow it to dry naturally.

• The colors of the leather we use in our pieces are achieved through tanning; as part of this process, intense or dark colors may transfer onto lighter fabrics and objects.

• Due to the natural tanning process, shades may vary.
